The hydrangea, next to the magnolia is a favorite flower of mine. It is also the most complex flower I have painted. At the beginning of every hydrangea painting I always seem to get lost, but I know from experience with patience I will find my way and hopefully create something beautiful.

"Magnolia" 6"x 6"

The magnolia is one of my favorite flowers. The trees are full of them right now. Big and beautiful. Two light sources were used for “Magnolia”. A soft spot was used on the left side and natural light coming from a south facing window for the right side.
