Paintings From The Point is a painting blog created to chronicle my progress as a painter. My name is M Collier and though I have lived in and traveled to many places I have comfortably settled on the west coast of California. Each of my painting is done in oils on 3/8" gessoed hardboard panel. All are painted from life. I love the unexpected focal point of this painting. The deliberate cutting off of the flowers, which are typically the focal point, makes for an interesting painting.
Lovely crop and color choice is spectacular.
