Paintings From The Point is a painting blog created to chronicle my progress as a painter. My name is M Collier and though I have lived in and traveled to many places I have comfortably settled on the west coast of California. Each of my painting is done in oils on 3/8" gessoed hardboard panel. All are painted from life. Intriguing painting. Interesting title and subject matter. You've captured the turmoil of the sky well. Nice work!
I clicked on this thumbnail in the DP sight not expecting it to be yours..very cool piece! Is this some sort of heaven/hell painting?...OK, maybe I'm looking too deep, it's probably just a very cool painting of a sky and a traffic light but I swear that menacing sky is evil rolling over the heavens and the red light is the devil (I'm laughing rite now)...does that street sign spell out HELL?...Nice work M.
