"Amaryllis" 6x6
A few weeks ago one of my neighbors brought me several amaryllis bulbs. I figured when the weather got a little cooler I would find a good spot and plant them. In the mean time I was storing them under a little work bench in the backyard. To my surprise one of the bulbs started to bloom. This little blossom was so delicate and only lasted a few days but that was enough time to create this painting.

I guess the destiny of this beautiful blossom was to live much, much longer- on your canvas.Exquisite work, as always.
