Paintings From The Point is a painting blog created to chronicle my progress as a painter. My name is M Collier and though I have lived in and traveled to many places I have comfortably settled on the west coast of California. Each of my painting is done in oils on 3/8" gessoed hardboard panel. All are painted from life. Stunning! I love the light coming through the petals.
How lovely! Is this bottle an inkwell? It's as if the darkness of the ink has moved to the background, and the orchids and water have taken its place.
