I so wish I could be a fly on the wall and watch you paint! What you do just seems like magic to me. This is a perfect example of the concept that black in light is lighter than white in shadow. Beautiful work!
You are the most AWESOME artist. I am continually amazed at what you continue to do. Each one as exquisite as the last one and each idea more wonderful than the last.
I bow to you!
Lynne
This is stunning! Your style is so seductive, I study each piece. The subject matter is so clever and the black and white feels colorful! Masterful job. Thank you
Wonderful painting
I love how the stripes make my eyes rock back and forth through the image! Very, very cool. And well done!
Very well done!
Unbelievable - bravo!
Nice work! It would be interesting to hear what your palette of colors was for creating this. Surely not only a black and white approach...
Thanks all for your comments.
John -- I usually work with around 25 colors on my palette, that includes my "greys". In this piece I used very little white and no black. I very seldom use black.
Wow. I would also love to watch the process of this painting. Nice work!
