"Rose In Vase" 8x8

Rose’s are everywhere right now. You can’t drive down a street without seeing bush after bush of these beauties. White seems to be the preferred color. Some have a little blush of pink or yellow. They are a great subject and when I paint them their aroma fills my studio. An extra bonus.

I would like translate for you two lines of a poeme of a old Spanish poet, but, I don't know if I will can do it...
Anyway, I try it:
