Great composition and perspective, peering down into the flowers...they seem larger than life, even with the size comparison photo ;o) Excellent work, as always.
i'm not stalking you, i just feel compelled to tell you, yet again, how much your work inspires me. i especially love your white flowers, the rich greens and goldenrods. just beyond beautiful.
I may not be able to see all the color in this painting, but the way it's composed, with strongly contrasting values, provides the punch for, yet, another stunning creation.
And, if I'm not giving away any secrets, I was delighted to find your gallery at dailypainters.com.
Wow, I am so in love with your work! Each week I have to check back to see for real what I see on the dailypainters site. This is just so amazing. You really inspire me to keep on trying! Thank you.

Each of my painting is done in oils on 3/8" gessoed hardboard panel. All are painted from life.

beautiful and refreshing... and yes I agree it is good to see them next to familiar objects. Great work as always.

I love it!
These are spectacular. Love that you shared the size! When you said hardboard, did you mean cradled board, or a flat treated board?
M, these are just STUNNING. The eye is led around the canvas from one delight to another. Perfect.
Who can resist white flowers? And museum quality white flowers at that. The studio photos really show off the scale well.
As usual, another beautiful painting.
