“Pomegranates” 5.25 x 8

Oil on Hardboard 5.25" x 8"
SOLD

The pomegranate trees are in full bloom here in Southern California. It is a sure sign the seasons are changing. Fortunate for me my neighbor has a mature tree that bares tons of fruit every year. Half of the trees branches hang over my fence so I have ready access to a lot of fruit. Though these pomegranates don’t get as large as the ones you may see in the market they are sweet and tasty and a wonderful subject for a painting.

Lovely, M! Very intriguing - and since pomegranates don't grow here, its cool to see what they look like with the floral part!
